Who Have Found Christ
How can I be saved and
do I need to be saved?
Statement of Faith
|
First, We confess Jesus Christ as
God, our Lord and Saviour, who is revealed in the Bible, which is the
infallible Word of God.
We believe
- In one true and Living God, whose Godhead consists of the
Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
- That Jesus the Christ was God incarnate, born of Mary while she
was still a virgin.
- That Jesus the Christ suffered, died, rose again bodily, and
ascended into heaven to sit at the right hand of the Father, where
He sits to this day.
- That the Bible is the inerrant, God-breathed Word of God and is
and is to be used as described in 2 Timothy 3:16
- That no man can work for his salvation or earn it, but, it is
the free gift of God.
- That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God because
of their inherited curse of sin brought on by Adam's sin in the
Garden of Eden.
- That we are saved by the free Grace of God alone through Faith
in Jesus alone.
- That the blood of Jesus alone atones for our sins.
- That those who accept and believe on the sacrifice and Lordship of the Christ
inherit eternal life with God, Heaven, and that those who reject
God, Jesus, will die in their sins and receive the eternal
punishment for sin in Hell.
- Hell is a real lake of fire burning forever where satan, his
angels and those who reject Jesus will be punished without end.
- That Jesus alone is the only way to God and He is the only
mediator between man and the Father, God.
- In the work of the Holy Spirit, His call to God, regeneration,
sanctification, and indwelling of the believer (that all believers
may walk in the Spirit and not the flesh), the fruits of the Spirit
AND the gifts of the Spirit.
- It is good for a Christian to be baptized and partake of the
Lord's Supper, but, not as a gospel of works or a means for man to
work for his redemption or even as a condition of his salvation.
- In the visible second coming of our Lord Jesus, the
Christ.
- That Christians are not to have any involvement with the works
of unrighteousness or the heretic or to enter in ecclesiastical unity with the
same. Therefore, we reject ecumenism with any non-Christian
organization and any group whether it calls itself Christian or not
that teaches any other Jesus or any other salvation apart from the
blood of Jesus. Therefore, we stand against the World Council of
Churches, the National Council of Churches, "Evangelicals and Catholics Together", and any other
ecumenical movement set on uniting true Christian believers with
false churches in ecclesiastical fellowship.
- That the lie that man can be a god, salvation through works,
necromancy, idolatry, spiritism, witchcraft, spirit writing, new
revelations, and any other "religious" practices denounced by the
Law of God in the Old Testament and warned about in the New
Testament are signs of apostasy or cults and have no place in a
Christian church (i.e. the body of Christ).
- Any church professing to be Christian while at the same time
embracing any of those practices listed in article 16 is violating
God's law and is that anti-Christ spirit warned about by Jesus and,
therefore, must be reproved and rejected as non-Christian, this includes the
Word-Faith movement, the New Age movement, Mormonism, the Watchtower
(Jehovah's Witnesses), Seventh Day Adventism, Catholicism, Christian Scientology
and any other such like.
- That the life of the true believer is evidenced by the fruits of
the Spirit which define behavior, works, and the treatment of others
in a Christ-like and Biblical manner.
- That the Authorized Version of the Bible translated into English
as commissioned by King James of England is the best English
translation and bears NO doctrinal errors or contradictions as do
many of the "new" translations in English. This position is
based on the studies of many current and past Hebrew and Greek
CHRISTIAN scholars who point out the superiority of translators,
translation methods and texts. Though this is an unpopular
stance, we find that errors in doctrine or contradictions of
accepted Biblical doctrines found in most "new" translations err in
a similar manner or in agreement with such false translations as the
New World Translation of the Jehovah's Witness cult or tend to be in
agreement with other cult and false religion doctrines. This
we find so disturbing that we have taken this open stand in
agreement with our brothers who are greater scholars than us.
- In accordance with the inerrancy of God's Word, that the
universe and all matter were created by God in six literal days
according to the Genesis account as this is the plainest reading of
Genesis chapter 1.
If you feel that our stand against the cults, the heretical
ecumenical church councils and false Christian ministers is unBiblical,
if you feel it is too harsh, too cold, too mean, read what our Lord has
said in His Word about watchmen and accountability.
Ezekiel 33:4-7
"Then
whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if
the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.
He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning;
his blood shall be upon him.
But he that
taketh warning shall deliver his soul. But if the watchman see the
sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if
the sword come, and take any person from among them,
he is taken away in his
iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.
So
thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel;
therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth,
and warn
them from me."
(If you know these things yourselves and do not warn others,
especially of sin and the coming destruction of the adversary, you are
failing to warn them yourself. Judge yourself.)
Ephesians 5:8-13
"For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye
light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (For the fruit of the
Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is
acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the
unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a
shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for
whatsoever doth make manifest is light."
(If we do not warn sinners of their eternal judgment that is coming,
how can we call ourselves ministers of God? Paul said, "Do I
please God or men"?)
Rom 16:17-18
"Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which
cause divisions and offenses contrary to the doctrine which ye have
learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord
Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches
deceive the hearts of the simple."
2Ti 4:10 For Demas hath forsaken me,
having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica;
Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.
2Ti 4:14-15 Alexander the
coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his
works: of whom be thou ware also; for he hath greatly withstood our
words.
(When we speak openly against false teachers and wolves in
sheeps clothing and name them by NAME, do we not keep this commandment?
Paul identified the wicked in the Church by name and warned others to be
separate from them and avoid them. Are we wrong to do the same?
Are we judged of men or of God? Paul said "Judge not another man's
servant for he standeth or falleth in his master's eyes". If we
call ourselves Christian, are we bound to be politically correct or are
we called to follow God and answer to Him as the final authority and
Judge of our deeds? You judge this according to the Word of God.)
If you have not
heard at least one of the above scriptures referenced and preached from
in your church's pulpit in the last year, LEAVE THAT CHURCH. Find
a new congregation where the Truth of God is declared and you are warned
of danger and exhorted. Why am I so bold to order this???
Listen as Paul declares the job of a Christian minister. NOTE: No
where in this declaration does he mention making the congregation feel
good or boosting their self esteem and no where does he mention being
politically correct!
2 Timothy 4:1-5
"I charge thee therefore before God, and
the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his
appearing and his kingdom; preach the word; be instant in season, out of
season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine;
but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers,
having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth,
and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all
things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full
proof of thy ministry."
The LOVE of God and the LOVE of a faithful watchman is their
declaration of truth even when it is hard to hear. A loving parent
chastises sin (Hebrews 12:6) and corrects his children. A loving
parent does not ignore the evil of her children but shines the light of
God's Word on it and gives her sons the warning accordingly that they
may be saved. We love you and our love of all the world is proven
by our willingness to stand against evil, error and sin in the camp.
It is proven by our willingness to do this without regard for our own
popularity, finances, or personal safety. Please, stand with us on
the Word of God and warn the world of the coming wrath against our sin.
